Next, lets write our blog post or article based on the outline we just created.  You can do this yourself or pass the outline onto your copywriter and they should do a great job of writing a quality blog post. If those aren’t options for you, then I have an AI Tool for this task:

This is an advanced Article writer. It won’t take a basic instruction and spit out an article. There are a number of steps to go through, where the AI gathers information about your proposed article from you, and produces a high quality article at the end. 

So allow 60 minutes for this.

As with any AI Tool, the more information you give it, the better will be outcome. If you rush through you’ll get a good article but not as good as if you are thorough.

OK, type “Hi” to start.

When prompted:

1.  Input the title of the article.

2. Paste in your outline (ie the subtopics list)

3. Is there anything you want to emphasise? This may be some important factor or aspect that you want to feature more. For a plumber it may be to emphasise that it not a good idea and not legal to undertake many plumbing jobs yourself.  If you don’t want to emphasise anything, you can input “no”.

4. Tell the AI what tone you’d like eg “friendly but knowledgeable” etc .  

5. Give it an example of a writing style eg the URL of a web page that you like (could be from your own website or another). Or say “no”.

6. When asked, advise it to mention any particular business or person eg you or your own business. 

7. Give it a quote from you or someone else if appropriate.

8. Advise if you want the post written from a first (“I”), second (“you”) or third person (“he”, ‘she”, “they” etc) perspective. 

The tool will then confirm the outline to you. It may be the same or it may be different from the one you added earlier, depending on your answers. You can ask the AI to change or refine it now are approve it to be used.

The tool will now draft each section of your post and ask for your feedback each time. This may seem a bit tedious, but it’s an opportunity for you to get those sections right which will give rise to a much better article at the end.  You can ask the AI to make changes to the sections, emphasise things differently, shorten or lengthen them and more. You can even copy the section out, edit it and paste it back in telling the AI to “use this”. Step through the sections, copying out each section into your Word document as you go and building the article.  This is important: you don’t want a technical issue to occur and you lose your work, and nothing is perfect. 

Also, sometimes the tool can stall or stop, in which case type in “proceed”.

Then review the full article. You can ask the AI to make broad changes such as “shorten it” etc. But otherwise finalise the article in your word document ready for posting. 

Sometimes the article the AI produces may be very long in which case you may see opportunity to break it up into separate smaller posts. Or you can ask the AI Tool to shorten the post.
